Main objective of 2013 survey: • To measure the frequency of accidental falls from heights among children in Île-de-France, Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur between 15 March and 15 October 2013. Secondary objectives of the 2013 survey: • To identify circumstances surrounding accidental falls from heights during the survey period and possible trends since 2006; • To assess requirements in terms of preventing falls from heights among children and to advise responsible stakeholders on building safety regulations. • To provide epidemiological findings on falls from heights that are linked to other causes (suicide, assault, unknown origin).
