2002 Survey: The purpose of the survey is to provide detailed information on the employment or inactivity situation of handicapped individuals or individuals with health problems for at least 6 months. 2011 Survey: The purpose of this module is to evaluate the European plan of action for handicapped individuals launched in 2003. This plan in intended, on the one hand, to reduce the inequalities faced by handicapped individuals, but also to integrate the issue of handicapped people into all policies concerned. Furthermore, this survey should allow for the observation of the job market situation for all handicapped individuals in the working age population, and for comparison of their situation with that of others.
