Professional cofactors and smoking are taken into account. Secondary objective: The cohort study benefits from high quality individual registration of exposure to various carcinogens on an annual basis, as well as long-term follow-up (over 20 years on average). All causes of death are recorded regularly. It is also possible to study risks other than cancer in this cohort, including the risk of cardiovascular or respiratory death. The extrapolation of risk per unit of exposure enables the assessment of low-dosage risk, at levels regularly encountered by some of the French population.
