Continuous recording of epidemiological indicators describing myocardial infarction: rate of incidence, rate of occurrence (incident cases and recurrent cases), rate of mortality, fatality rate. All of these figures are provided by sex, by year and are standardized on age. - Use of the recorded data for developing research programs in analytical epidemiology on the environmental and genetic determinants of ischemic heart diseases. - Design and development of specific targeted studies on issues of interest to cardiologists (acute coronary syndrome, caring for the acute phase of the disease, study of survival, etc.), Institut de Veille Sanitaire (French Institute for Public Health Surveillance) (validation of the death certificates for deaths of a coronary origin, validation of data from PMSI for myocardial infarction), regional stakeholders (population surveys on the risk factors). - Transmission of specific information and calculations as requested by the DDASS, DRASS, and any partner that may be interested by the data on ischemic heart diseases in France.
